Cuan Walker is a household name in road running in South Africa. Having managed some of the world’s best runners from the track through to Comrades winners and gold medalists, he is also the voice of road running on local television sets, having done live road running commentary for SABC Sport since 2008 and more recently on behalf of SuperSport.

Cuan has travelled to Kenya a number of times where he lived and trained with some of the worlds greatest athletes and gained insight into the training methodology of coaching greats such as Italian coach, Renato Canova.

Cuan has run from a very young age and has completed three Comrades Marathons.

Previously the elite athlete manager of Maxed Elite, a team sponsored by Mr Price Sport, Cuan brings a wealth of training knowledge & experience to Team Ashworth and will, not only be a very valuable addition to our team, but a formidable coach in his own right.
