Sixty-six athletes coached by David and Ann Ashworth took part in the 2023 Comrades Marathon.
Our fastest finishers this year were: Elston Naiker (6h03), Emmanuel Mutikani (6h08) and Mduduzi Nhleko (6h08). Amongst the ladies, Maretha Smit (6h48), Lene Swart (7h02) and Renata Vosloo (7h04) were first home.
Team Ashworth athletes achieved 8 Silver medals (men only), 6 Isavel Roche-Kelly medals (ladies only), 17 Bill Rowen medals, 21 Robert Mtshali medals, 8 Bronze medals and 6 Vic Clapham medals.
